There is nothing professional about this place. A friend took his end of life dog there for euthanasia. He and his wife loved that dog like a child. While getting ready to perform the service in the back of his SUV, Dr Kepplinger left them standing there to go talk and yuk it up with another client who had been extremely rude and had barged right in the middle of the procedure.
Will no longer go here. Will never recommend this place to anyone. Will only give my experience of this horrible place going forward. This place used to be the best in the area. Then, I noticed little things happening like the wrong birth date on a kitten record which resulted in a rabies shot vaccine given a little too early. Took another cat here for an upper respiratory infection and after two different prescriptions of eye drops and one round antibiotics, and after a second visit, the doctor loaded the cat up with vaccinations, which made her recovery even more difficult. I heard someone state these will be the last vaccines the cat will need due to its age! How heart warming. And the last thing that happened was when I took a kitten to this clinic to have a routine spaying, and she died an hour afterwards. Never again.
Neither of us could be paid enough to ever set foot in there again.
Can't say anything good about this place. Dogs and cats and kids running all over the place, many dogs off leash...babies in dirty diapers....and one unleashed dog tried to attack a dog we had brought in there for care.
My very sick old dog was released with no take home instructions, no medications, no verbal instructions. Then we were sued for a past due bill that as far as I'm concerned was for shoddy service.
I love bringing my animals to this clinic as I know that they will be taken care of! Dr. Tina and her staff are very friendly, informative, and caring! I even have them come out to take care of my horses! They also have reasonable prices! I highly recommend them!!
Wonderful caring staff and Doctors. We live out of state but make arrangements to bring our pets to LRAH because of the excellent care they give. Thank you all and may GOD bless you in special ways.
We would recommend Lost River Animal Hospital in a heartbeat! We've been taking our adopted feral cat there for three years now, and can attest to LRAH's high standards -- of cleanliness, kindness, and veterinary care.
